States of Coexistence is a series of three works exploring the relationship between living organisms and human-made systems. Electronic circuit boards are gradually overgrown by white mushroom mycelium, creating hybrid structures in which organic growth and technological remnants become inseparable.

Developed over several weeks, the works emerge through a process of cultivation rather than complete control. The unpredictable growth of the mycelium becomes an essential part of the artistic process, allowing chance and biological agency to shape the final form.

The series speculates on possible futures in which nature and technology no longer exist as opposites, but evolve into new forms of coexistence. It invites viewers to question where the boundaries between the living and the constructed begin to dissolve — and which system ultimately shapes the other.
